Founded in 1988, BizLink elocab GmbH operates from two locations in Georgensgmünd (Nuremberg metropolitan region). The company joined the BizLink family in 2022.
BizLink elocab specializes in custom cable solutions for demanding industrial and medical applications. Initially focused on bulk cables, we have since expanded to provide comprehensive cable system solutions in four key markets: industrial specialties, railway, endoscopy and inner-body, and semiconductor manufacturing.
Industrial Applications:
We deliver tailored cable solutions designed to meet specific requirements such as mechanical strength, chemical resistance, durability in dynamic applications, signal integrity, and complex hybrid designs. Our cables serve a wide array of industries, including food processing and packaging, machine tools, printing, surveillance, conveyor systems, and both naval and land defense.
Rolling Stock/Railway:
Our cable systems for the railway market are built to withstand extreme mechanical stresses. These include inter-car jumper systems and rooftop spirals, which connect train wagons and endure harsh environmental conditions like UV radiation, ice, snow, and stone chipping, all while remaining in constant motion. Despite these challenges, our systems are designed to last 8-12 years in operation.
Endoscopy and Inner-body Applications:
For the medical sector, we provide cable systems that are used in proximity to or within the human body. Our primary focus areas are heart support systems and endoscope systems for surgical robots. These cables often require biocompatible materials and must endure hundreds of sterilization cycles, including autoclaving. To meet the stringent demands of the medical industry, our management system is ISO 13485 certified.
Semiconductor Manufacturing Technology:
Our cable systems meet the highest standards for cleanliness and low outgassing, essential for ultra-high vacuum environments in advanced lithography equipment. These machines, worth hundreds of millions of euros, can be compromised by even minimal outgassing. To ensure optimal performance, we have dedicated cleanrooms and state-of-the-art cleaning and measuring equipment for producing both cables and cable systems.
